Lesson Two:

  • Opening a Message

  • Printing a Message

  • Closing a Message

  • Exiting PEGASUS

  • Repeating the Lesson

Lesson Two will have you working with an actual message that you will retrieve when you check for mail. I have sent you an e-mail message with a subject heading reading:

"Subj: # 2. Double Click Here To Open The Message"

Before starting refer back to Lesson #1 and follow the steps up through step 4. You will always start the lessons following the steps in Lesson #1.

OPENING a Message

As you can see from the prompt the subject line on the message is showing you, double clicking on the message line will open up that message so that you can read it.
Double click on that line now. You should now see the message.

Printing a Message

Click on the Print option above the message, shown below.

The following action box appears.
print

Just click on the box with OK and the message prints out.

CLOSING a Message

Now close and then reopen the message. Look at the picture where you see a box around a letter in the corner. Single click on that image a drop down menu appears. Click on the word close. Windows TIP: Any time you are working in what appears to be a box you can close the box using this method. (NOTE: In Windows it is a hyphen in the corner.)
