Sending Offline Messages After You Re-Connect to the Internet

Working offline is great for those times you can't get online, the internet is so slow, or you want to prepare a message and just not send it right away. Print out this lesson before starting so that you can follow along when you are off the internet.
Preparing Messages Offline
1. After checking for mail, click on File

2. Notice the red symbol in the right corner. This means you are offline.

3. Prepare a message to py@py.com. Just refer in the subject that this is an offline test.
4. When Finished click on Send
5. Notice the status line on the bottom. It now shows that the message is queued and to the right the number of queued messages.


Sending Offline Message
1. This message will not go out until you send all queued mail. Leave offline just like you did to go to offline mode. From the drop down File menu click on "Leave offline mode".
2. Look in the right corner. You still have a message queued.
3. Again, select the drop down menu under File and click on "Send all queued mail"

Preparing Messages Offline (NOT CONNECTED to THE INTERNET)
1. Leave the internet and go back to your Windows Desktop.
2. Double click on the Pegasus Flying Horse and open up the program just as though you were online.
3. Go into offline mode by selecting "Enter offline mode" from the File drop down menu.
4. Prepare two messages, one to py@py.com and another to pat@py.com. Remember to send each one when you finish it.
5. Exit Pegasus (File and then click on exit.
Sending Offline Messages After You Re-Connect to the Internet
1. Log back on to the Internet.
2. Open Pegasus Note: Pegasus comes in the online mode.
3. Look in the right corner and you'll see your 2 messages queued.
4. From the drop down menu under File and click on "Send all queued mail"
That concludes lesson 9. Click on File and then click on exit.
